I was lucky enough to spend a week at Star Hill Timberworks learning timber framing; it was an outstanding experience. The owner, Jon, is great at explaining the concepts and layout process so that anyone can follow along easily. I left with a great grasp on the entire process of cutting and assembling a whole frame. His family and property are just as amazing as the knowledge Jon shares.
